Increase in Scope of Activities and Capabilities 2016

This year has been a positive step forward in the growth of Inter-Tec’s capabilities and approvals. We have recently gained an increase in scope to our EASA Part21J DOA terms of approval which has been extended to include minor repairs to APU structural components, ducts and intakes. This is now in addition to our current scope for large and small aeroplanes and rotorcraft, in the form of changes and repairs to aircraft related to galleys and interior equipment, installation of avionics and electrical systems, secondary structures and installation of externally mounted equipment and all related structures pertaining to these requirements.

Furthermore, we have issued our first STC this year, and through this process and certification approval, have now expanding our engineering scope to cover EASA Part21J Major changes.

In expanding our activities, we have recently undertaken a number of projects with expanded capability in the management of manufacturing activities and provisions of modification and repair kits to several clients. This includes the delivery of complete modification and repair packages which include full design solution, EASA part 21J DOA approval and installation kits, to allow for a complete one stop service which meets client’s critical priorities, costs and timescales.

Upcoming Events 2016

We shall be attending a number of events in the coming months of the year.

apm_europe_logoWe will once again be attending AP&M Europe, on 1st and 2nd June, at The Olympia in London,UK. The event has and continues to provide an excellent setting for engaging with suppliers, partners, existing customers and meeting potential customers within the commercial aircraft supply industry.

ddBetween 11th to 14th July, our Managing Director Fred Gorrie will be attending the Farnborough Airshow in Hampshire. The biennial event is an international event which attracts businesses from across the world.

As the year progresses we will also be attending Helitech International, at the RAI Exhibition and Conference Centre in Amsterdam from 11th to 13th October, where we will be exhibiting for the 4th year in a row. We have developed a substantial portfolio within the rotorcraft industry in recent years and exhibiting at events such as Helitech has allowed us to establish a focal point for which to engage in networking opportunities and ensure valuable face to face time with all of our existing and future clients.

In addition, Fred will once again be attending MRO Europe, also in Amsterdam RAI, from 18th to 20th October.

Towards the end of the year, Fred will be in attendance at MEBA Dubai, located in the DWC Airshow Site between 6th and 8th December. Our presence in Dubai continues to be an essential means for increasing awareness of Inter-Tec in the Middle East region. We have recently partnered with Avisa Gulf, an internationally established CAR M Subpart G Approved Technical, Commercial and Operational consultancy, with the purpose of offering a complete streamlined offering of our combined skills, experience, certification knowledge and continued airworthiness capability to the industry in the Middle East Region.

Fred is always available for discussion and can be contacted on +44 7702 013 182 or by email, at any time.

Events Updates – 27th January 2014

mroNext week I will once again be attending the MRO Middle East exhibition in Dubai on 5th/6th February, and available from 3rd through to 8th. Last year’s event has proved very useful by way of increasing awareness of Inter-Tec in the Middle East region. We are delighted to have gained GCAA Design Organisation Approval during 2013, to add to our EASA Part 21J DOA. It has been a pleasure dealing with key people at the GCAA in Dubai to date, and we hope to use this approval to effectively support design and certification requirements for existing and future customers in the region.

singaporeOn 9th February I will head from Dubai to Singapore to attend the Singapore Air Show. This biennial event is the largest air show in the world behind Farnborough and Paris. I will be participating in the UKTI Joint Mission to the Air Show which includes some interesting events and networking sessions throughout the week.

Over the next 2 weeks I look forward to catching up with existing contacts, and perhaps meeting many more for the first time, to discuss the latest developments in both Middle East and Singapore markets.
